วันที่ (31 ก.ค. 2565) เวลา 12.00 น. พล.ต.ท.สุคุณ พรหมายน ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยว ได้มอบหมายให้ พล.ต.ต.อภิชาติ สุริบุญญา รองผู้บัญชาการและโฆษกกองบัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยว แถลงต่อสื่อมวลชนว่า 

เมื่อวานนี้ (30 ก.ค. 2565) เวลา 10.50 น. สถานีตำรวจท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดอยุธยา ได้รับแจ้งจากศูนย์บริการนักท่องเที่ยว 1155 ว่ามีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวญี่ปุ่นร้องขอความช่วยเหลือเนื่องจากไม่สามารถสื่อสารภาษาไทยได้ ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวอยุธยาจึงได้นำตำรวจท่องเที่ยวพร้อมล่ามแปลไปพบนักท่องเที่ยวดังกล่าวทันที

จากการสอบถามผ่านล่ามทราบว่า นักท่องเที่ยวดังกล่าวชื่อ นางอะยาโนะ ยาสุฮาระ ( Ayano Yasuhara ) อายุ 45 ปี สัญชาติญี่ปุ่น เป็นภรรยาของผู้บริหารระดับสูงบริษัทผลิตยางยี่ห้อบริดจ์สโตน เดินทางมาเที่ยวประเทศไทยตั้งแต่วันที่ 28 ก.ค. 2565 ที่ผ่านมา และมีกำหนดบินกลับญี่ปุ่นในวันที่ 2 ส.ค. 2565 ได้ทำโทรศัพท์ยี่ห้อไอโฟนหายเมื่อเวลา 09.00 น. ของวันเดียวกัน

ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวอยุธยาได้สอบถามนางอะยาโนะว่าไปที่ไหนมาบ้าง และทราบภายหลังว่า ก่อนมาไหว้พระที่วัดแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดอยุธยานั้น ตนเองได้เเวะปั๊มน้ำมันเชลล์ที่ตำบลบ้านป้อม จังหวัดอยุธยา เพื่อเข้าห้องน้ำ ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวจึงรีบพานางอะยาโนะไปตรวจสอบที่ปั๊มน้ำมันดังกล่าวทันที 

เมื่อถึงปั๊มน้ำมัน ได้พบนางวันเพ็ญ มาเมือง พนักงานทำความสะอาดประจำปั๊มน้ำมันดังกล่าว ซึ่งแจ้งว่าตนเองเป็นผู้พบโทรศัพท์มือถือไอโฟนตกอยู่หน้าห้องน้ำจึงเก็บมา แล้วไปฝากไว้ที่เคาน์เตอร์ปั๊มน้ำมันเพราะคิดว่าเจ้าของโทรศัพท์ต้องกลับมาติดต่อรับคืนอย่างแน่นอน ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวตรวจสอบเเล้วพบว่าเป็นของนางอะยาโนะจริง จึงให้นางวันเพ็ญนำมาส่งคืนให้นางอะยาโนะด้วยตนเอง

ทันทีที่คุณอะยาโนะได้รับโทรศัพท์มือถือของตัวเองคืน ได้แสดงอาการดีใจและเข้ามาขอบคุณนางวันเพ็ญ และตำรวจท่องเที่ยวเป็นอย่างมาก ยืนยันว่า จะกลับมาเที่ยวประเทศไทยอีกแน่นอน 

พล.ต.ต.อภิชาติฯ ถือโอกาสนี้ ขอบคุณตำรวจท่องเที่ยวอยุธยาที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และขอขอบคุณคุณวันเพ็ญ มาเมือง ที่เป็นเจ้าบ้านที่ดีสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยว โดยกล่าวยกย่องการกระทำของคุณวันเพ็ญ นำมาซึ่งความประทับใจต่อนักท่องเที่ยวชาวญี่ปุ่นรายนี้อย่างมากมาย ซึ่งเชื่อว่า เหตุการณ์ครั้งนี้จะถูกนำไปถ่ายทอดให้กับคนญี่ปุ่นอีกหลายคนต่อไป จะส่งผลให้การท่องเที่ยวไทยเป็นการท่องเที่ยวที่มีคุณภาพและจะเป็นมหาอำนาจของการท่องเที่ยวของโลกต่อไป 

พล.ต.ต.อภิชาติฯ กล่าวเสริมอีกว่า ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวเพียงอย่างเดียวไม่สามารถทำให้การท่องเที่ยวมีคุณภาพไปได้หากไม่ได้รับความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วนในสังคม และเหตุการณ์ในครั้งนี้ รวมทั้งครั้งก่อน ๆ ที่ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวได้สร้างความประทับใจให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวชาติอื่น ๆ ที่ผ่านมา จะเป็น good signature ของการท่องเที่ยวไทยที่นักท่องเที่ยวไม่มีวันลืมเลือนจากหัวใจ

Wife of Bridgestone CEO Praises Tourist Police

Today (31 July 2022) at 0200 pm, Pol. Lt. Gen. Sukhun Prommayon, Commissioner of the Tourist Police Bureau, has assigned Pol. Maj. Gen. Apichat Suriboonya, Deputy Commissioner and Spokesman for the Tourist Police Bureau, met the press. 

Mr Spokesman said yesterday (30 July 2022) at 10:50 a.m., the Ayutthaya Tourist Police Station was notified by the Tourist Service Center 1155 that a Japanese tourist had requested assistance because she could not speak Thai.  The Ayutthaya Tourist Police then immediately brought the Tourist Police officials with an interpreter to meet the said tourists.

From the inquiry through an interpreter, it was found that  such a tourist named Mrs. Ayano Yasuhara, 45 years old, Japanese nationality, wife of a senior executive of the Bridgestone tire company, travelling to Thailand since 28 July 28 2022 and scheduled to fly back to Japan on 2 August 2022, lost her iPhone at 0900 hours on the same day.

The Ayutthaya Tourist Police asked Mrs Ayano where she had been and later learned that  before coming to pay homage to one of the temples in Ayutthaya, she stopped over at a the Shell gas station at Ban Pom Subdistrict, Ayutthaya province, to go to the bathroom. After getting information, the tourist police immediately took Mrs. Ayano to go the above-mentioned gas station.

At the gas station, they found Mrs. Wanpen Mamuang, a cleaning worker at the said gas station, who said she was the one who found the iPhone mobile falling in front of the bathroom. So she picked it up and gave it at the counter because she thought the owner of the phone had to come back to definitely get it back  The tourist police examined it and found that it was actually Mrs. Ayano,’s iphone. Then the tourist police brought Mrs Wanpen with the iPhone and returned the phone to Ms. Ayano by herself.

As soon as Mr. Ayano received her mobile phone back. She expressed her delight and fully thanked Mrs. Wanphen and also the tourist police a lot, confirming that she will definitely come back to visit Thailand again.

Pol Maj Gen Apichat took this opportunity to thank the Ayutthaya Tourist Police for their effective duty, and thank Mrs Wanpen Mamuang for being a good host for tourists.  He said the action of Mrs Wanpen brought many deep impression to this Japanese tourist, and does believe that this phenomenon would be conveyed to many Japanese people in the near future. Mr Spokesman also added this will result in tourism in Thailand becoming quality tourism and will certainly be the superpower of tourism in the world.

Pol Maj Gen Apichat also insisted that the tourist police alone cannot ensure quality tourism without cooperation from all sectors in society. This good phenomenon, including the previous phenomenon that the tourist police has made an impression on tourists from other nations, will be a good signature of Thai tourism which the tourists will never ever forget from the heart.

Mr Spokesman confirmed once again that if all tourists need help from the tourist police, just call 1155 or contact through the tourist police I-lert-U application.
